Davao: Delongtes

I still could not stop giggling over the jingle of Delongtes which played over and over again when we dined their last weekend. It wasn't annoying mind you, but it was the first time that I heard a resto's whole menu being sung! Yup, you gotta hear it!

When I told Andrew that my friends and I wanted to eat inihaw he immediately suggested that we have lunch at Delongtes. I trust his judgment and so that's where we had lunch.

I had longganisa and pork barbecue -

The kinilaw was yummy too -

We all had to help my best friend finish the bottomless liempo she ordered -

And we also had durian shake for only PhP45.

Servings were generous and you'll already be filled-up with just PhP100.

I Love Lachi's

This is my nth post about Lachi's. Last weekend I had the chance to eat my favorite Lachi's dish, the pork marinara, and dessert, their famos sans rival, and I was already in heaven... until...

This was served -

Creme Brulee Cake

I was beyond heaven after. I wish I live in Davao.

Mexicali

I love eating taco, burrito, and quesadilla, so when Sweetie and I were looking for a place to have merienda one afternoon we decided to eat at Mexicali at The Link (Anson's place beside Makati Shangri-la Hotel).

We were quite hungry and ended up ordering a number of dishes.

Enchilada

Chili con Carne

Quesadilla

Must haves: I like their enchilada and prefer having it as a meal (makes you really full!)

Can do without: the carpenter banging on the door with his hammer, it was painful experience and dampened our spirits since we could barely hear each other

Price range: around PhP150 per person

The Lakwatsera's Rating: just make sure they are not fixing something in the resto

Manila: Pepper Lunch

You'll probably find it funny I'm posting about Pepper Steak again. LOL.

When I got back from Singapore I craved for it. I'd imagine the yummy smell, slathering on peanut butter and the tangy flavorful honey brown sauce on the hamburger steak... okay I'll stop describing it now because it's making me very hungry again.

So a few days after I got back I issued an invitation to Sweetie and told him I wanted our date day to be at the Rockwell Powerplant Mall so we could eat at Pepper Steak.

I had hamburger steak again...

And Sweetie had mixed chicken and pork steak.
